Add an hCaptcha solver extension to AdsPower.
AdsPower installs Chrome Web Store extensions into its SunBrowser profiles, and the NoneCap hCaptcha solver is on the Chrome Web Store. Add it once in AdsPower's Extensions center, enable it for the profiles you choose, and it solves hCaptcha in those profiles as you browse. If you drive profiles from code through the AdsPower Local API, the NoneCap API fits better; that route is further down. NoneCap solves hCaptcha only, not reCAPTCHA or Turnstile.
Install it from the Chrome Web Store
These steps follow AdsPower's own Install Extensions help page:
- Open the NoneCap listing in the Chrome Web Store and copy the page's URL from the address bar.
- In AdsPower, open Extensions, go to the Chrome Web Store tab, paste the URL and click OK.
- The extension appears under Team's Extensions. While it is ticked there, it loads into your SunBrowser profiles when they start; untick it and it is not added on the next launch.
- To keep it to some profiles only, put it in an extension category (Category, New category) and pick that category when you create a profile, or for existing profiles select them and use Profile, Edit extension. AdsPower's Extension Category page has the details.
- Start a SunBrowser profile and open a page with hCaptcha. When the challenge opens, the extension solves it on the page.
AdsPower recommends installing extensions from the Extensions center rather than from inside a profile, and for teams on several devices it suggests turning on Extension Data under Team, Global Settings, Data Sync. Both points are in its extension troubleshooting post.
Or upload the release zip
Every NoneCap extension release is also published on GitHub. AdsPower accepts a zip through Extensions, Team, Upload extension, as long as the file is under 60 MB. AdsPower does not auto-update extensions installed either way. To update, open the extension's three-dot menu in Extensions and choose Update: click OK for a Web Store install, or upload the new zip for a zip install.
Things to know
- AdsPower's Extensions section works only for SunBrowser profiles, not FlowerBrowser.
- The extension needs Chrome 120 or newer. If AdsPower reports an incompatibility between the extension and the browser, its Extension FAQ says to update the profile's kernel version.
- While it solves, the browser shows a "started debugging this browser" banner. That is expected: the extension attaches only for the solve and detaches when the attempt ends. The extension privacy policy says what it sends.
- Settings and your API key are stored per profile. Pause the extension on a site or block sites from its menu in each profile.
Free solves or your API key
The extension includes free solves every day without an account, which suits a handful of profiles. For more, create a NoneCap account, copy an API key from the dashboard and paste it into the extension's options in each profile. Solves then draw from your balance, from 1 credit per challenge round, and a failed solve is never charged. See pricing.
Profiles you run from code
When you start a profile through the
AdsPower Local API,
the Open Browser response includes ws.puppeteer, a WebSocket
address Puppeteer connects to, and ws.selenium, a debug address
for Selenium. In a script, request the token yourself rather than waiting on
the extension: read the page's sitekey,
call POST /v1/solves, put the token in
h-captcha-response and submit. The
Puppeteer guide and the
Selenium guide show the whole flow; the
only change for AdsPower is connecting to the address the Local API returns
instead of launching a browser.
Other antidetect browsers
Some other profile browsers document the same Chrome Web Store install. Multilogin X asks for the Chrome Web Store URL in its extension manager (the Multilogin guide has its steps and a launcher API example), and MoreLogin takes the URL in its Extension URL box. In both, paste the NoneCap listing's URL and follow the same steps as above.
Dolphin{anty} adds Web Store extensions by link for all profiles or one profile type; the Dolphin{anty} guide has its steps and a local API example.
Gologin installs Web Store extensions per profile, from inside a running profile or its Extensions tab; the Gologin guide has its steps and a Python SDK example.
Octo Browser takes the Web Store link under Extensions in the profile or template editor; the Octo Browser guide has its steps and a Local API example.
Kameleo loads Chrome extensions into its Chroma profiles from a
.crx file rather than a store link; the
Kameleo guide has the download, its
steps and a Local API example.
Camoufox is different: an open-source anti-detect Firefox that you drive from Playwright code rather than through a profile app. The Camoufox guide covers setting it up and getting an hCaptcha token from your script.
Use it where you're allowed to
NoneCap's terms rule out fraud, credential stuffing, spam and unauthorised access, and leave it to you to check the terms of the sites your profiles visit.
